A bit about me…

My name is McKinley Fodness, and I work under the professional name Dean Browne. I am a recent graduate of the Illustration program at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), with a focus on botanical watercolor and surface design.

My work centers on creating thoughtfully crafted illustrations and patterns that translate seamlessly into home and apparel applications. I am particularly drawn to organic forms, natural motifs, and layered textures, using a blend of traditional and digital techniques to create work that feels both refined and expressive.

I approach each project with a strong foundation in design theory, an eye for detail, and an understanding of how illustration functions in commercial and collaborative environments. I value clear communication and enjoy working closely with clients and creative teams to understand project goals, develop concepts, and deliver visually compelling solutions that align with brand identity and production needs.

I am motivated by collaboration, problem-solving, and the opportunity to contribute meaningful visual work to thoughtfully designed products.

If you have questions about my work, potential collaborations, or would simply like to connect, I would love to hear from you!
