Sketchbooks post Vacation…
Forsyth Park (Savannah, GA)
I was fortunate enough to finish my degree this year! Now as I begin to try and find my voice and my artistic style it all seems so much lighter of a load, and a lot more fun then when I had to pull all nighters to just get a mood-board and process presentation together. I was also very fortunate to be able to take the trip of a lifetime to Europe on a Virgin cruise. If you have never taken a cruise, it is the Tapas of traveling. Small bites of flavor in every port town while also just relaxing a letting the travel become the fun part. Europe always seems to offer an abundance of creative inspiration, but while there I really tried to keep my sketchbook away and really take it all in. Since coming back to the states, I have found sketching to be more fun and freeing. I have loved sketching my world around me, the things that I LIKE TO DRAW, and the things that make me smile. Here is the first page of my summer sketchbook. Forsyth Park, in historic Savannah, Georgia. Thats kind of what i want this blog to be, just a sketchbook page attached to my weird rambling thoughts, Hope you enjoy!
