Not so Auspicious of me…

Wow, I am quickly realizing it has been months since I updated this. How very NOT Auspicious. That is not to say that I haven’t been busy working, drawing, living life, and going on amazing adventures however. This past year has been filled with tremendous highs and grand canyon type of lows, not just for myself but for everyone I know. The day I drew this was one of my favorite days of 2025. Sara and I went to Auspicious bakery to work on homework and have breakfast and I love how you are able to watch the pastries being rolled in the big open bakery. So many different versions of croissants and bagels and danishes and pop-tarts. It is really impressive to see, and also the views from the backside of the bakery and restaurant are always so gorgeous. This is their little courtyard where you can sit outdoors on a bench and enjoy the view and a hot mocha, or wait for a table at their new waterside restaurant. I would love to do more drawings like this and even incorporate more line work into all of my illustration. I always love the repetitive nature of that style, especially when drawing quickly and listening to good music. That day I was listening to Sting, Ten Summoner’s Tales, which is a fantastic album. I think Seven Days might have been one of the number one songs on my Spotify wrapped last year as well. If you haven’t heard it, it is worth the 52 minute listen time.

Moving into 2026 I am excited to be continuously learning and growing and I cant wait to post all of the things I create! Laters for now!
