Happy Happy Happy

This piece is a collage of Happy Gilmore references, both deep cuts and front page moments, rendered in my favorite visual language. Hand lettering, iconic props, and just enough absurdity to get kicked off the PGA Tour.

What’s in the mix? A golf ball shrine with vintage laurel leaves, crowned with “1996” like it’s a historic artifact. A growling alligator, probably moments away from losing another eyeball. Shooter’s stolen gold jacket, complete with an angry “THAT’S MY JACKET!”. Happy’s putter-hockey hybrid, resting in the grass like a legendary weapon A Subway sponsorship nod, because let’s face it, no sports hero arc is complete without sandwich synergy. And of course the iconic, “TAP TAP TAPPY, TAPAROO!” painted like a cult chant.

This isn’t just a sketch. It’s a love letter, a mood board, and a chaotic tribute to one of the most quotable sports comedies ever made.
